Kenyan Tea & Coffee — Sourced for Export
The Finest Kenyan
Tea & Coffee,
Ready for the World.
We partner with Kenya's farmers and cooperatives to source premium tea and coffee — then connect that quality to international buyers who demand the best.
Who We Are
Rooted in Kenya.
Connected to the World.
Nakira Commodity Traders Ltd is a Nairobi-based agricultural trading company specialising in the sourcing and export of Kenyan tea and coffee. We work directly with smallholder farmers and producer cooperatives across Kenya's premier growing regions.
Kenya is globally recognised for producing some of the world's most sought-after teas and coffees. Our role is to be the bridge that connects that exceptional quality to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond — reliably, transparently, and at competitive terms.
We handle sourcing, quality assessment, logistics coordination, and all export documentation — so your focus stays on your business, not the supply chain.

What We Export
Premium Kenyan
Tea & Coffee
Kenya's highlands and fertile volcanic soils produce teas and coffees that command premium valuations at international auction. We source from the country's most respected growing regions — Kericho, Nandi, Mount Kenya, Kirinyaga — and bring that quality to your door.

Kenya Black Tea
Kenyan CTC & Orthodox Tea
Kenya produces some of the world's most prized black teas — bright, brisk, and full-bodied. We source CTC grades preferred by blenders and Orthodox leaf for premium retail and specialty buyers. Primarily from Kericho, Nandi, and Nyamira highlands.

Kenya Arabica Coffee
Washed Arabica — AA, AB & Peaberry
Kenyan coffee commands premium prices at auction worldwide for good reason. We source washed Arabica from cooperative societies on Mount Kenya, Kirinyaga, and Kiambu — known for distinct blackcurrant acidity, full body, and outstanding cup scores.
How It Works
From Farm to Your
Port of Choice
Sourcing
We engage directly with farmer cooperatives and estates in Kenya's top growing regions, selecting lots against grade and cup profile requirements.
Quality Check
Lots are graded, cupped (for coffee), and assessed against international export standards before any commitment is made to a buyer.
Documentation
We prepare phytosanitary certificates, certificates of origin, export licences, and all compliance paperwork for a clean, smooth shipment.
Delivery
Coordinated logistics from upcountry to Mombasa port or Nairobi ICD — FCL, LCL, or airfreight depending on your volume and timeline.
Why Nakira
What Sets Us Apart
as Your Supplier
Direct Cooperative Access
We source directly from farmer cooperatives and societies — no unnecessary middlemen. This means better quality control and fairer prices throughout the chain.
Grade Transparency
Every offer comes with full grade specification, moisture content, screen size, and — for coffee — cup score. No surprises when your shipment arrives.
Export-Ready Compliance
We understand Kenya's export regulations, KEBS standards, and international phytosanitary requirements. Your documentation is always complete and correct.
Genuine Kenyan Origin
Kenya AA coffee and Kenya highland tea carry a real market premium. We give you full traceability to origin so your buyers can trust what they're getting.
Flexible Volume
Whether you need a sample lot to trial a new supplier or a full container for regular supply, we can structure the deal to fit your operations.
Responsive Service
You deal directly with our principals — not a call centre. We respond fast, communicate clearly, and solve problems without bureaucracy.
